Society of Nuclear Medicine Conference
Projection Mapping & Stage Design
For a private reception and product preview hosted alongside a major conference, the Society of Nuclear Medicine needed a visually engaging stage environment that could be delivered within a limited budget.
The goal was to create a distinctive, high-impact experience for a select audience without relying on large-scale equipment.
The Challenge
Balancing creativity with constraints:
- Deliver a visually compelling stage design on a controlled budget
- Create depth and movement without extensive hardware
- Support product presentations in a way that felt elevated and intentional
The solution needed to maximize impact while minimizing resources.
The Solution
AVFX designed a projection-mapped stage environment that transformed simple elements into dynamic visual surfaces:
- Layered Stage Design
A series of suspended panels flanked the stage, creating multiple surfaces for visual storytelling
- Efficient Projection Mapping System
Using just two projectors, AVFX mapped content across all panels, delivering motion and variation across the entire stage
- Multi-Source Content Integration
Content from multiple media sources was blended and mapped to create a cohesive visual experience
Projection mapping enabled the transformation of static panels into a unified, animated environment without the need for additional hardware.
The Outcome
The result was a visually engaging stage that exceeded expectations while staying within budget.
By using projection mapping strategically, AVFX delivered a flexible, high-impact solution that supported both presentation content and overall event atmosphere.
