As the audience entered the Boston Opera House, they were engulfed in sights and sounds signaling a very special occasion. 2016 marked the expansion of TEDxCambridge to the Opera House, but in 2017 the audience exploded to near capacity. The recent October 12th event attracted over 2,000 guests.
The event, directed by Dmitri Gunn, again selected AVFX Boston to provide all audio visual services this year including the outstanding lighting design on Atomic Scenic stage elements which stole the show. There were five great presentations on a stage branded with dynamic custom imagery provided by Tank Design and ended with an electrifying dance performance by Phunk Phenomenon.
This assignment was a challenge AVFX approached with great confidence having provided AV production services for the past six TEDxCambridge events as well as a growing portfolio of high-level corporate and non-profit events.
Projection, lighting and sound were designed and executed by AVFX technicians and an AVFX technical director called the show.
