Mayor Wu dazzled the crowd
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the celebration was delayed from November 2021 when Michelle Wu was sworn in as the Mayor of Boston.
The audience of 1,000+ gathered under a grand tent on the bricks of City Hall Plaza with disco balls up high, creating a sparkling sculpture. The stage was decorated in Mayor Wu’s signature purple with signs that said “All Aboard” and “Celebrating Boston’s Possibility.”
AVFX Collaborated with many vendors to make this happen
AVFX was selected by Rafanelli Events to supply LED video walls on either side of the stage so the audience could see and hear everything. AVFX also called the show, stage-managed, and did camerawork and video playback.
