As part of the ongoing recovery from the Boston Marathon bombings, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) police officer Sean Collier was remembered for his dedication to law enforcement and his love of MIT Community. Students, faculty, dignitaries and fellow officers gathered at a campus memorial. It was a very moving event with over 15,000 people in attendance.
There was hardly a dry eye in the place including our team. We staged the event with some great partners and only 72 hours to prepare. It was an honor to be selected for this solemn occasion.
His family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
