The 2019 WBUR Gala was a great event that treated 300+ people to great food and drinks at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.

WBUR LogoThe audience heard Jeremy Hobson, co-host of WBUR’s Here & Now, facilitate a conversation with Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian on his recent memoir, Prisoner: My 544 Days in an Iranian Prison.

Outgoing General Manager, Charlie Kravetz spoke eloquently about his emotional and intellectual experiences during his eight years leading the station.

The evening was capped off by Atul Gawande, surgeon, writer and public health leader, who received the WBUR Medal of Honor for his contributions to medicine.

AVFX was again selected to supply complete audiovisual services including audio, video projection and mapping on three walls.

We underwrite and contribute in-kind event support because we believe in the WBUR mission and want to support it.
