What personal data we collect and why we collect it.

Contact Forms and Email

You may provide information when you submit a website contact form. Customers that email us, or use any of the contact forms on our websites, will have their email address and any data provided in the contact form or body of the email, time and date of message, any IP addresses assigned to them at the time of submitting the contact form and the user agent strings of the browsers they used stored in our website database and in our email. Marketing Campaigns

We use email marketing to communicate with customers and potential customers from time to time. Contact form information submitted to register for an event, seminar, or workshop, or any contact form used to download an offer will be used in our newsletter campaigns and other forms of communications, so we can provide related information to you and information about AVFX.  Acknowledgment that you have read and accepted our privacy policy is your agreement that you “opt-in” to receive these emails. All marketing emails sent by us will include an unsubscribe link in the footer of the email. How long we retain your data.

We keep analytics and the web server logs that record information about a visitor to our websites, such as the visitor’s IP address, browser type, and operating system indefinitely. We retain the logs for this period of time in order to, among other things, analyze traffic to our website and investigate issues if something goes wrong on the website.

Any Email correspondence is kept indefinitely as a history of our service and communications with your to enhance our customer service to you.

Contact form submissions can be stored in our website database for up to 12 months.

What rights you have over your data.

You can request “to be forgotten” and we will erase any personally identifiable data we have about you. Of course, this excludes data we need for administrative or security purposes or if we are required by law to retain some of the data.
