57 Annual Hatch Awards — AdClub @ the House of Blues

Every year, hundreds of advertising agency professionals gather for The Ad Club’s Hatch Awards (named after a legendary Boston’s ad man). This year they braved the crowds to see and be seen and they weren’t disappointed with the show. This was the 57th year and the event was held at the House of Blues. For many years AVFX has provided precision projection services and, this year, five large rolling flat-screen video monitors.
Fifty-seven years ago, the leaders of the Greater Boston advertising community began the tradition of honoring their peers for creative excellence in their field. In choosing the title of this event, it was decided that it would carry the name of a person who was respected for the qualities for which The Advertising Club stood. That name was unanimously selected: Francis W. Hatch.
The audience of agency creatives came to see the best of more than 1,000 submissions. By the end of the evening, hundreds of ad agencies, in-house agencies and a few outstandingly talented students took home gold, silver and bronze bowls.
The Best of Show Award went to Mullen Lowe for Jet Blue’s Fly Babies campaign.
