Position Overview

The Front Desk Administrator will foster a warm and welcoming environment, providing an exceptional customer service experience to AVFX clients, visitors, and staff alike, while performing a variety of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate voiceover IP phone system and direct calls using established procedures
  • Answer basic inquiries by phone or email
  • Greet and direct visitors as they enter the building
  • Provide administrative assistance to Finance and Human Resources, including but not limited to filing, written correspondence, data entry, and AMEX receipt collection/reconciliation
  • Maintain a clean and orderly front office space
  • Manage the petty cash box using established procedures
  • Order office and kitchen supplies, as needed
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of break room and other client-facing areas, including but not limited to wiping down counters, emptying the dishwasher, and restocking beverages
  • Complete projects as assigned by supervisor and/or management


  • Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5pm
  • Occasional ability to start before 8:30am required
  • Occasional weekday evening availability required

Skills and Proficiencies

  • High degree of professionalism
  • Superior customer service
  • Sound judgment and discretion
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Familiarity with voiceover IP phone systems
  • Familiarity with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Experience working in an office environment

Working Environment

  • Full-time schedule during standard business hours
