Philips was the official health technology sponsor of SXSW® Interactive this year and AVFX supplied audio visual support to exhibit designer, Czarnowski. Together we helped Philips create a major presence AND offer attendees a lounge where they could recharge and enjoy some air-fried carrots or eggplant.
AVFX Boston provided video walls and touch screens to attract and educate guests as they relaxed at the Philips Motivate Lounge in the foyer of the Austin Convention Center. Philips provided a juice bar, charging stations and demos of healthy products. Visitors were invited to register for the Connect to Healthy experience, which captured and monitored health and fitness data from 1,000 attendees through various wearable devices.
Information was presented in customized dashboards to give attendees insight into daily changes in their health and how they compare to other SXSW Interactive attendees across Austin. The data contributed to the Philips Foundation partnership with UNICEF helping build and scale innovations that benefit children.
