On February 20 and 21 The 2021 Camden Conference explored the Arctic, one of the world’s least-known regions. The Arctic is already undergoing dramatic, irreversible changes traceable to global warming. These changes impact the pace of climate change, they forewarn of the challenges ahead for human, animal, and plant habitats in this and other regions.

AVFX was selected to provide virtual event production services because of our skills and long track record with the conference.

The virtual audience was quite geographically diverse this year. We added up the distance of all the presenters and the moderator in New Jersey from our Production Suite in Boston and realized it was over 30,000 miles. Impressive considering that the circumference of the earth is 24,901 miles.

We had some wonderful feedback from the 2-day virtual conference.

“Thank you and the rest of your crew for pulling off the most beautiful virtual conference ever! I received numerous emails over the weekend inquiring about the technology and asking how we made “Zoom” look so good.”

Kimberly Scott, Executive Director

Keynote speaker, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson served as President of Iceland for twenty years, 1996-2016; he was elected five times in national elections and is passionate about the Arctic.
