Video/Data Projectionist

AVFX is currently looking for a video & data projectionist. We are a full service staging company serving the corporate meeting, tradeshow, and event industries. Due to our success and our increased workflow, we are in need of another projectionist. The person we are looking for will be familiar with both DLP and LCD projectors of varying sizes. Our inventory ranges from Digital Projection Highlite 12000DSX DLP to Sanyo XP-30 LCD projectors. The successful candidate will know how to set-up, operate, and be able to do maintenance level service on these machines. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of video signal flow, data switching and the peripheral equipment that feed data to the projectors. A definite plus would be some knowledge of camera and switching equipment. Although we are not looking for a video engineer, having some knowledge or experience with switching would be a valuable bonus. As important as your technical knowledge is, your personality and your ability to work with others in what can often be stressful circumstances is equally important. On show site, you will be working with a team of technicians who are all focused on getting the show up and running. At the same time, clients will be present and will be making demands on your time and expertise. It is important that you can stay cool, mature, and professional in high stress environments.
